The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for managing and growing the company’s customer base through outbound calling, lead generation, and account management activities. This position is responsible for driving sales revenue growth in conjunction with the Sales Manager and maintaining positive customer relationships, while also tracking and reporting performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for both revenue and new account acquisition.

  • Manage existing accounts and build new business through research, lead generation, cold calling, and follow-up.

  • Provide timely forecasts of sales and orders booking.

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product offerings and positioning.

  • Utilize a CRM system (SFDC) to track activities, opportunities, and forecasts, and maintain effective reporting metrics.

  • Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and materials that drive lead generation - Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings.

  • Help prepare for and attend trade shows, conferences and industry events. Represent DuPont Tedlar® and drive lead generation.

The position will report to head of Sales and Marketing.

Job Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years sales experience.

  • Self-starter, independent achiever, highly motivated personality is a must.

  • Strong ability to build customer relationships is essential.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills, good negotiation skills are key.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of outbound calls and emails

  • Proficiency with CRM applications (preferably Salesforce)

  • Experience with protective film, polymer or coatings products especially in Building & Construction industry would be ideal.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • This position requires travel to trade shows 25% to 50% of the time.

  • Location preference is Wilmington, DE.

  • Hybrid work schedule

This role requires a highly motivated, results-oriented sales professional who can work independently and collaboratively with others to drive sales growth. The Inside Sales Specialist will be expected to bring a positive, results-driven attitude and work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and other teams to ensure success.
