We're looking for someone responsible for preparing, negotiating, managing and coordinating assigned agreements/categories of buy and supporting the procurement of various professional services across DuPont as well as managing a portfolio of suppliers (such as IT Services, HR Services, Financial Services, Marketing, Consultancy, …) accross the different businesses for EMEA.
PS Buyer to negotiate and deliver savings to meet business requirements and S&L objectives. Identifies opportunities and optimises the operational expenditure taking into account the TCO
You assist operations or businesses to establish a well-defined scope of work and create and implement a matching procurement strategy.
The PS buyer evaluates and selects suppliers in terms of quality, service, cost and capability, and assists in the development of procurement strategies in conjunction with the businesses, their plans or commodity teams.
He or she ensures competitive pricing versus industry trends and market place dynamics. You resolve, when escalated, quality, service, supply and invoicing issues with suppliers and identify and drive continuous improvement.
You manage contract implementation and supplier performance and are involved in supporting resolving operational issues.
You must be able to understand market dynamics, labour rates/market rates, etc. that impact assignments. You have the ability to identify suppliers that can deliver innovation and competitive advantage
You lead and enable effective resolution of emergency sourcing needs and ensure that there is no disruption of supply.
You establish a good relationship with your internal clients and regularly monitor the VoC
You follow up and report accomplishments in the appropriate systems.

BA/BS degree or equivalent level through your work experience. Experience in procurement is an advantage.
You like to negotiate and you are able to persuade suppliers and stakeholders to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
Networking comes natural to you and you impact and influence through solid argumentation and a positive approach.
You are stress/Pressure resistant when it comes to negotiations internally and externally.
Good English knowledge and basic PC skills are a must.
You work in a structured and efficient way and plan your own workday, based upon overall guidelines and project plans.
You’re a good listener and can easily translate the Voice of the Customer into the correct business requirements and marry them with the procurement objectives
