DuPont is seeking a Manufacturing Technology Engineer t at our facility located in Yerkes, NY . This role is responsible for the defining and delivering PSM, Grow & Improve projects in alignment with tactical and strategic Business Technology objectives.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of the Line of Business (LOB) technology to define and implement solutions for PSM, Grow and Improve projects.

  • Leads or participates in Front-End Loading (FEL), commissioning, start-ups, and special procedure development of capital projects.

  • Provides input into Business Technology Implementation Plan (BTIP) and Multi-Generational Technology Plan (MGTP)

  • Leads or participates in Process Hazards Analysis (PHAs).

  • First contact in MT for advanced troubleshooting for Operations.

  • Provides technical training and coaching to Operations Engineers and Technical staff.

  • Participates in technical Root Cause Investigations (RCIs) for incidents and near misses.

  • Leads or supports raw material qualification or trials for new products.

  • Validates technical solutions and documents results to drive toward a standardized Process Technology.

  • Leads or provides technical inputs to Management of Change Process.

  • Leads or participates in Project Reviews.

  • Collaborates across MT, Quality, Operations, EHS, R&D, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 3 Years experience in manufacturing environment.

  • Learning agility - A personal drive to learn, pivot when necessary, and adapt to the ever-changing needs of our company in the face of a changing world and customer base.

  • Intellectual curiosity - Proactively investing time and energy into learning more and personally developing, in the interest of improving yourself and delivering better results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fundamental understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple, complex, time-sensitive projects.

  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading both long-term programs and projects as well as addressing short-term operational issues.

  • Experience with developing basic data, project execution, equipment startup & commissioning.

  • Understanding of Capital Project process from justification to execution.

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles

  • Six Sigma / Green Belt Certified

The Pay range for this role is $75,600.00 - $118,800.00 Annual
