Grinder Operator (Job Number: 199291W-01)
Operates the grinder machine to produce set targeted output.
Responsible for packing products in their correct packaging and unloads product in their correct weight.
Acts as a “custodian” of the grinding machines whenever it is up and running.
Operates the grinding machines according to Operating Standards as defined by the Quality & Manufacturing Manuals to meet target cost & quality specifications.
Report and correct equipment throughput rate reduction/ or downtime in coordination with the Production Supervisor. Participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence of downtime.
Responsible for the good housekeeping of the grinding area.
Adheres to Security, Safety, Health & Environmental standards, policies and procedures in support to the plant’s Environmental Management System aligned to the requirements of ISO and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Identify opportunities for improving section or machinery performance (production rate, quality, cost reduction) through the shift SHE Family Teams.
Responsible for the good housekeeping of his area.
Supports in the establishment and maintenance of the plant-wide Quality Management System in accordance with the ISO Standard.
Has the responsibility to ensure that his specific work performance adheres to the Plant Quality Policy in support to Food Safety according to Food Safety Standards.
At least high school graduate or equivalent work experience.
