ROLE DEFINITION​

As a Production Operator you will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing production functions in the PSA, Die Cutting, Silicone and Epoxy forming.

RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION ​

Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:​

  • Assemble parts according to blueprints meeting quality and quantity objectives.

  • Complete necessary paperwork on line as needed.

  • Quality check parts in the assigned process.

  • Operate equipment in the Production areas.

  • Know daily goals and targets to meet.

  • Read work orders, follow engineering drawings and/or receive verbal instructions regarding duties.

  • Rotation to all departmental jobs with this job classification.

  • Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.

  • Perform necessary task in the company’s computer data entry system (QAD)

  • Maintain organized and clean Production area.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS​

Requirements:​

  • High school Diploma/GED.

  • Experience working in a Manufacturing environment is preferred

In addition, successful candidate must meet the following physical qualifications, with or without accommodation:

  • Must have good or corrected eyesight to insure quality of work.

  • Ability to work with a variety of glues, solvents, and chemicals.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to lift 20 lbs on an occasional basis.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple work instructions, engineering drawings and company policies.

  • Ability to perform simple math problems such as addition and subtraction of 2-3 digit numbers.

  • Attention to detail.
