Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides coordinating role and support regarding safety, health and environmental issues. Administers/implements Pioneer corporate safety programs.
Conduct basic Industrial Hygiene (IH) sampling and recordkeeping at direction of Africa SHE Manager. Document findings as directed. Maintain monitoring equipment and supplies. Performs moderately complex IH sampling and recordkeeping at direction of Africa SHE Manager.
Coordinates training delivery and assists site management/Risk Management in ensuring that employees meet training requirements for all locations under his/her responsibility. Can conduct moderately complex training as and when required. Manages recordkeeping, etc. to meet site training compliance requirements.
Incident investigations and safety Audits
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma/Degree in SHE Management
2 Years working experience as a Safety Officer
3 - 5 Years experience
Training in SHE sciences
Demonstrated understanding of Regulatory laws
Computer literacy: Microsoft word, Excel
Good communication skills – written and spoken
Primary Location: EMEA-South Africa-Gauteng-Rosslyn
Education Level: Associate's Degree/College Diploma (±13 years)
