We have an opening for an experienced, dynamic generalist commercial lawyer, to be based in the global headquarters for DuPont Nutrition & Health in Copenhagen, Denmark. The position is part of DowDuPont’s global legal organization and is dedicated to support DuPont Nutrition & Health. We are 3 commercial counsels and a legal assistant in Copenhagen, and there are approx. 25 employees in the global Legal and IP team, which supports DuPont Nutrition & Health globally. You will report to the global Associate General Counsel based in Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities of the position:
You will mainly be providing legal support to DuPont Nutrition & Health’s business units and functions in the EMEA region (Europe Middle East and Africa).
You will draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts of a diverse nature with external, international parties balancing commercial opportunities and risk mitigation.
You will manage M&A activities, transactions and various legal projects.
You will provide legal analysis and recommendations to business leadership regarding disputes, engage outside counsel to ensure requisite expert legal advice, and support legal compliance activities.
You will provide strategy, direction and guidance to internal stakeholders in legal matters end-to-end in the product cycle and across the value chain.
You will counsel on a broad variety of legal subjects, including company, food, pharma, antitrust, intellectual property and employment laws.
You establish strong and collaborative relationships with business and management teams based on openness, balance, objectivity and integrity.
You contribute to the further development of DuPont Legal – process optimization, and legal tools.
- Legal masters degree (cand. jur., preferably partly with studies abroad), and minimum 8-10 years post qualification experience; Danish bar admittance would be an advantage.
A combination of top-tier law firm experience, and in-house corporate legal position in an international company will be ideal– preferably with the food or life science insights.
Experience within commercial contracts, antitrust, dispute resolution and risk management; experience in food and pharma laws would be an advantage

Working approach: you have time management and organizational skills necessary to independently manage and appropriately prioritize case load, to meet deadlines and goals. Self-motivation and team working are key and so is critical attention to detail, deadlines, and awareness.
Languages: fluency in English is a must; command of other languages is a plus.
Travel: Ability to travel on a limited basis.
