As a Global Grower Compensation & Relationship Manager you will be responsible for representing the business in the development of new Grower Compensation Digital Systems. As the toolkit and systems are established the role will transition to focus on grower contract strategy and grower relationships, which will require this individual to maintain a strong understanding of seed industry dynamics, grain marketing tools, contracting options, external affairs, and Corteva Agriscience strategic goals. The ability to creatively market the value of our seed contracts and partnerships to our strategic growers will be critical to success. Ultimately this individual should seek opportunities to develop and extend incentives, opportunities, and other value-added benefits to our Seed Growers to help Corteva Agriscience maintain the strongest Grower Network in the markets in which we operate.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • SystemsProduct Owner – Business ProductOwner for Grower Compensation IT system development.12-24month assignmentfocused on building the system to calculate, track, and execute seed growercontract payments globally.

  • GrowerCompensation Strategy: Develop annual reviewprocess for grower compensation & incentives. Work closely with Regional ProductionDirectors to review compensation & incentive effectiveness and futurestrategy. Work closely with legal toensure our contract is both compliant and easy to articulate to growers.

  • Sellingthe Contract – Work closely with IOField Training & Development to train agronomy teams on the value andbenefits of our contract and how to position it with growers.

  • OutsideIn – Maintainunderstanding of industry contract options, grain trade tools, and relateddynamics that could influence our seed contract with growers on an annualbasis.

  • Customer& Consumer Focus – Maintainrelationships with External Affairs to understand how to incent our SeedGrowers to support stewardship, sustainability, and other consumer focusedmeasures. Collaborate with CommercialSeed, Crop Protection, and Granular teams to create Enterprise offers orincentives for seed growers.


The following arerequired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required

  • Minimum 10 years ofagricultural industry experience

  • Self-Motivated and Driven toseek and drive value in the area of focus

  • Strong Communication andCollaboration Skills

  • Ability to collaborate and leador influence a diverse global team without direct authority

  • Ability to create andarticulate strategic choices and potential outcomes

  • Ability to lead large, complexprojects

  • Knowledge of ProductionAgriculture with preference given to candidates with seed productionexperience or understanding

  • Legal & Marketingknowledge is a plus
