Reliability Practitioner (Job Number: 200986W-01)
Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ is recruiting for a Reliability Practitioner to join our team. The Reliability Practitioner mines the data from EAM, Unit Performance, and other sources, looking for trends and improvement opportunities across the network. This role identifies improvement opportunities and develops recommended solutions that drive business results through analytics and reliability engineering principles. This role will also serve as the OEE Program Owner.
Apply engineering theory, practices, and principles to perform failure analysis, such as RCFA and 5-Why, to determine root cause of equipment failures and conduct equipment performance evaluations
Actively participate in maintenance and reliability networks (internal and external) and share best practices, successes and failures. Leverage network learnings to improve Reliability.
Provide Reliability Leadership, coaching, and support to site related to early work identification, Standard Operating Procedures, and practices impacting general/overall machine health.
Continually promote consistency by standardizing procedures/equipment/operations within area of responsibility. Work with site and Engineering resources to develop equipment repair and PM procedures
Analyze equipment trends, historical data, field data, and Uptime/OEE data to recommend and justify improvements to obtain lowest life cycle cost on different classes of equipment.
Analyze equipment Criticality and develop/improve maintenance strategies and spare part strategies to prevent a failure event and ensure attainment of production objectives.
Determine how process variation and equipment operation can impact equipment reliability, and provide leadership and support to drive improvements.
Interface with capital project resources to facilitate Design for Reliability as part of new equipment selection and design processes
Support implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) by identifying and supporting autonomous maintenance done by operators, where appropriate, and work with sites to ensure training and procedures maintain reliability during work execution.
The following are required:
Associate's degree or higher in mechanical engineering, reliability engineering or related field of study paired with at least five years of relevant and related professional experience
HS Diploma and 10+ years of relevant and related professional experience may be considered
Understanding of reliability principles and techniques (ex. RCFA, RCM, FMEA)
Understanding of Maintenance Management Fundamentals (ex. planning, scheduling, training, MRO Management)
Project and Program Management skills
Ability to develop, foster, and excel in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution skills with an ability to influence multiple levels of the organization
Willingness and ability to take a hands-on approach in training and execution
The following are preferred:
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
Knowledge of OEE, LEAN, Six Sigma
Two or more years of experience in a production/maintenance environment
