End-to-End Service Delivery and Integration role: Serve as the single point of contact for DuPont R&D and Operations sites who manages IT operations, addresses issues and questions, and communicate priorities and directions between the Business and Corporate IT. The successful candidate combines strong technical skills with relationship management to procure and apply resources from Corporate IT in fulfilment of business requested solutions.
The Site IT Leader establishes a working relationship with peers in the Regional and Global IT teams to leverage expertise and experience to ensure timely resolution of end user problems and drive implementation of IT services at both sites.
To enable continuous improvement and innovation, the Site IT leader surveys the organisations of both sites and gather VOC. He/she will work to identify best solution based on input from many different stakeholders and work with the IT Cluster Leader to build support for the opportunity and gain early agreement on priorities and funding.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Uptime of IT infrastructure and hardware:server & storage systems, switches and telecom, laptops, printers and other peripherals.Uptime of network including Data, Wireless, Voice networks, modems, firewalls, and video conferencing
Assist end users and work with corporate Help Desk to trouble-shoot and deploy laptops/desktops.Drive resolution of end user issues and provide the appropriate level of escalation as needed.Follow incident / problem / change management processes
Support any local IT solutions outside the corporate standard service delivery scope.Provide application installation, updating, patching and performance monitoring
Windows/DuPont update support including pro-active monitoring of instrument functionalities following remote updating
Coordinate maintenance windows with end-users to update and patch OS or applications
Manage backup schedules and ensure best practices applied for data protection
Ensure in the event of an outage, service is restored quickly and correctly
Enrollment of computers in lab environment.Negotiating firewall access rules for networking instrument PCs
Ensure IT standards are followed in the implementation of new IT solutions and drive compliance with information security policies, to maintain IT service continuity
Provide a sounding board and advice and counsel on IT matters for the site population
Communicate IT policies, plans and priorities to the businesses and functions on site
Proactively identifies R&D and Manufacturing program requirements as input to corporate IT function.Actively participates with all businesses on site/s to identify shared improvement opportunities, seeking innovative solutions as appropriate
Work with IT Teams, Cluster IT Leader and other functional staff to resolve areas of concern
Provide feedback to CoE/CoO to ensure services are optimized
Ensures site expectations are aligned with contracted services and that services are delivered.Escalate service level agreement issues and provide feedback of resolutions
Responsible for site related IT procurement and asset delivery
Meet regularly with teams to set goals and expectations, assessing and monitoring work progress and removing obstacles
IT Expertise: A Bachelor degree in an IT or computer science discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.The candidate should be a skilled IT generalist who can understand a wide array of IT infrastructure, spanning major competencies and technologies such as LAN, WAN, Firewall, Telephony, Video Conferencing, Compute (servers), End user Computing
Previous experience in an automation, R&D or manufacturing environment is desired
Must have ability to understand IT general concepts whilst engaging with subject matter experts and support professionals to implement solutions and support existing environment
A working knowledge of active directory and management of individual accounts, shared accounts, and service accounts is preferred
Previous experience working with ITIL support models provided by IT service providers
Experience with Project Management methodologies (ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma) preferred
Leadership: Defines and executes IT objectives, consistent with corporate strategies and architectures. Develops plans for organisations to accomplish objectives at site level. Provides leadership upon IT matters to site and is part of local leadership team

Informed Buying: Recognises opportunities and initiates action to improve existing IT operation or reduce costs within business or IT capability
Service Delivery: Is action oriented and ensures the right priorities are set on a daily basis
Local Vendor Management: Understands current technical capabilities of suppliers. Anticipates future capabilities needed. Effectively communicates to suppliers business and IT direction and challenges
