India Marketing Manager, Wastewater (Job Number: 201275W-01)



DuPont Water Solutions (DWS) is looking to strengthen our leadership position in the wastewater applications in India, one of the most dynamic and fast-growing markets. The candidate will play an instrumental role in growing this segment in India initially, and may expand the scope to other sub regions such as ASEAN and Middle East in 2-3 years. The candidate will be part of the Marketing team but will collaborate closely with cross functional teams for strategy development and execution. In addition to the Wastewater Marketing Manager role, the candidate will spend the first 6 months on a project-basis to refresh the India DWS 5-year strategy. The candidate will report to the Global Marketing Manager for Wastewater in both capacities.


India DWS Strategy

Ÿ Assess the market growth opportunities for residential, industrial utility water, industrial and municipal wastewater, and specialty applications for the India market.

Ÿ Generate the 5-year business plan in terms of revenue aspirations, key growth initiatives, project milestones, and resource planning.

Ÿ Incorporate sub regional inputs from cross functional teams (Commercial, TS&D and AD) and align with regional/global segment strategies.

India Wastewater Marketing

Ÿ Develop a deep understanding of the India wastewater market on industry trends, competitive situation, value chain, and customer segmentation.

Ÿ Prioritize the growth opportunities in different industries and design the growth strategy of Fortilife product lines in the MLD (Minimum Liquid Discharge) and ZLD (Zero Liquid Discharge) applications

Ÿ Evaluate the market potential and attractiveness of bio-treatment technologies in the secondary wastewater treatment in the municipal and industrial segments

Ÿ Propose market penetration strategy and business model for the selected bio-treatment technologies

Ÿ Work collaboratively with commercial team as the supportive resources including pricing approvals, promotion tools development, and market/sales plan connection & execution.



Ÿ Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related Science/Engineering Degree. MBA is preferred.

Ÿ At least 10 years of commercial experience of sales, marketing, or business development in the water treatment industry.

Ÿ Good business acumen and marketing knowledge/skills to translate market opportunities into business results.

Ÿ Formal experiences with marketing and project management assignments is preferred.

Ÿ Demonstrated record in driving execution and delivering on the business commitments.

Ÿ A team player to work effectively with cross-function, cross-country teams in a global organization.

Ÿ Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in written

Ÿ Willing to travel frequently in the region.
