Key Account Manager Residential (Job Number: 201779W-01)
This position is for a Key Account Manager responsible for development of sales of Water & Process Solutions product line in India and neighboring countries.
The position involves strategic development and growth of the WPS in the assigned. Account management skills around current customers’ base management, innovation, new markets and strategic markets development, price, volume and product mix management are required to optimize profitability of current portfolio of products.
Beyond today's sales, a key objective is an ambitious growth strategy. We are looking for a challenger sale profile who is able to understand the WPS business big picture and works on delivering winning insights across business VC (by teaching new things, tailoring the insights and bringing the solution back).
The individual assuming this role will need a strong focus around growth, delivery and contribution. This will require developing strong, in-depth relationships with customers and key stakeholders in the assigned region. It will require a mentality to hunt for and convert opportunities. A deep knowledge of customer un-met needs and potential solutions will be important. Strong teamwork will be required between the individual assuming this role and other functions contributing to our growth initiatives.
UnderstandGlobal Business Strategies for respective Businesses / Value Centres.
Shareinformation on local business conditions, market dynamics, and competitivescenario with Regional Marketing / Business Heads. Participate informulating COUNTRY SPECIFIC Business Strategies with Regional Marketing /Business Heads.
Co-ordinateactivities among various internal departments to deliver products andservices to customers in cost effective manner.
Workjointly with Technical team and R&D to identify , pursue andcommercialize new products and generate new business across the keymarkets and customers
Developshort to medium term growth plan at customer level
Budgetexpenses / resources at optimum level.
GenerateSales Volume and Revenue with Profitable Returns with a clear focus onachieving targets and goals across the region (India Subcontinent)
Focusedapproach to partner with identified key accounts and develop a sustainableand profitable business strategy for the accounts
Monitorsales volume and pricing on continuous basis.
Engageand influence key stakeholders(industry associations, regulators,legislators, NGOs) in India to educate consumers about how ourtechnologies can help tackling local issues and also expand awareness ofthe brand
B.S. degree in Chemistry / Agriculture / Polymer/ Chemical Engineering + MBA from a reputed university.
More than 5 years of industry experience working in Sales / marketing function.
Experience in water industry is preferred
Having experience in handling both Key Accounts and Channel Management.
Previous experience in B2C would be a strong advantage.

Highly self-motivated, independent decision making and proactive problem solving
Very good computer skills
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and negotiation capabilities
Proven ability to perform under pressure
Strong liaison with sales peers, R&D and marketing, teamwork, ability to work cross regions and across functions
Good presentation skills
Valid driving license
Readiness to attend extended business trips
