We are looking for a talented individual to join our Martinez manufacturing team in the position of Process Technician - Logistics. As part of the logistics team, you will be responsible for process operation in areas across the plant. You will monitor equipment and production processes to ensure maximization of catalyst manufacturing. This involves working with our process control system, troubleshooting equipment and interacting with engineers, technicians and maintenance to optimize the operations.

Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to:

  • Packaging, loading& unloading trucks, and working outdoors

  • Maintainslift truck operator certification, responsible for safe operation and dailyinspection of vehicle for defects requiring repair.

  • Troubleshootequipment such as valves, pumps, hoses, etc.

  • Functionsas a conscientious, participative team member in work group with focus onreaching team goals.

  • Activelyparticipate in crew and department activities (including: definition ofbest practices, consensus decision making, SOP development andmaintenance, training, continuous improvement efforts and standardization)

  • Communicateeffectively verbally and in writing regarding: division of tasks, e-mail,problem resolution, feedback, process documentation, etc.

  • Work in anorganized and safe manner; address safety, GMP and housekeeping concerns

  • Contribute tocontinuous improvement through observations, attention to detail andfollow through

  • Recommend changes,implement, and adhere to ISO standards

  • Model appropriatebehavior and hold people accountable for: Safety/Health, Environment,Ethics and Respect for People Core Values.

We are looking for an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player who communicates in an open, honest manner. In addition, qualified candidates should possess the following:

  • High SchoolDiploma/GED

  • Excellentinterpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to wear arespirator

  • Ability to troubleshoot,prioritize and manage deadlines under pressure

  • Ability to performmultiple tasks and coordinate activities

  • Strong team playerwith an ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant

  • Work safely andadhere to DuPont Core Values

  • Ability to domoderate to heavy stair climbing (including vertical ladders), along withthe ability to work above floor surfaces (heights)

  • Ability to domoderate to heavy lifting (65 lbs)

  • Ability to work8-hour shifts 7am-3:30pm; Weekends & Overtime as required

  • Possess a validCalifornia driver’s license

  • Currently hold orcan qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential(TWIC) card (Note, information regarding TWIC qualification standards maybe found at https://www. tsa. gov/for-industry/twic)

The following arepreferred:

  • 1+ years ofmanufacturing experience

  • Powered IndustrialTruck/Forklift certification

  • Experience indefining, writing, and following Standard Operating Procedures

  • Experience with MSOffice suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Previousexperience/education in a logistical, scheduling, or related role
