NA Operations Human Resources Consultant/Manager (Palo Alto and Sunnyvale) (Job Number: 191141W-01)
DuPont has a current opening for a North America Operations Human Resources Consultant/Manager that will provide direct support to Palo Alto (R&D) and and Sunnyvale (Innovation) in the region, and be a part of the West Region HR Team. This position will require a person of vision, integrity and commitment, as well as substantial leadership and influencing experience, maturity and judgment. This position will report to the West Region HR Team Leader.
The Human Resource Consultant’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Administers and implements HR initiatives. HR programs supported may include Legal Eagle, Business Ethics, and AAP Plans. HR activities will support COE activities across Global Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Organizational Vibrancy.
Maintain a legally compliant work place, respond to charges and complaints, lead investigations.
Advance manager competencies through coaching, feedback and training.
Partner with leaders to foster a positive employee experience.
Act as a thought partner with managers/leaders.
Provide insights, identify trends to proactively engage the workforce.
Provides counsel and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and related practices.
Compiles, analyzes and interprets data in support of HR metrics.
Generates reports and ensuring HR data is accurate.
Supports the needs of the HR Business Partner on various HR initiatives / processes.
Identifies ways to improve HR Analyst performance and upgrade processes and/or procedures in support of employee and manager self-sufficiency.
Provides employee relations services to client group.
Articulates implications of HR programs, communicates programs and implications, adapts programs as necessary to client organization needs within defined program boundaries, and assists management in implementing HR program changes.
Effectively interprets and communicates business group needs and identifies or assists in crafting appropriate solutions to meet needs.
Coordinates efforts with other HR Teams to ensure return on development investments across business groups.
Supports the onboarding process of new employees.
Effectively plans and leads the integration of HR work streams and business resources.
Assists with various HR training programs and activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
Minimum 5 years’ HR experience that includes talent acquisition and staffing, talent management, compensation and change management
Demonstrated ability to initiate clear, actionable steps to support the overall business strategy
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities for timely decision making
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to engage, inspire and influence others
SPHR/PHR certifications highly regarded
