Description

Qualitysystem

·Ensure that the Quality System of laboratory is properly implemented and adhered to according to at all times.

·Ensure that all quality and technical operations are full compliance with SHEQ management systems and other compliance obligations.

·Ensure all the LQM, LPM, LWIM and all quality related associated documents are up to date.

·Ensure committed to quality and continuous improvement and maintain discipline among staff within the laboratory.

·Ensure that document and data control are compliance with SHEQ management systems and other compliance obligations.

  • Shall adhere to all company’s policies, rulesand regulations and committed to company’s quality and continuousimprovement programs such as MS ISO 9001, GMP, HACCP, RSPO, BRC, EMS.

  • Shall adhere to best practices of ISO 17025.

QualityControl

  • Ensure incoming inspection is performed basedon quality plan and result deliveries are completed in timely manner.

  • Report immediately to the QC Chemist and QCsupervisor on non-conformances,anomalies and dispute and other related matters.

  • Ensure smooth operation during the workinghours of the laboratory without major disruption.

  • Ensure zero violation in lab operation

  • Ensure all the monitoring records andverification records are updated.

  • Ensure all testscarried out are compliance to testing methods

  • Ensure all lab equipments are well-maintainedto produce reliable results and no overdue in calibration and preventivemaintenance

  • Involve actively in interlaboratoryproficiency program.

Audits

·Ensure that laboratory operation is fully conformance to standard and requirements.

·Assist QC chemist to close all the non-conformances from audit finding in timely manner.

·Ensure no serious or major non-conformance in internal / external audits

Spirit

·Actively participate in assigned surveys and team building cross functional teams as assigned to help lift the site morale and culture.

·Attend site communication to be kept informed of updates pertaining to the site.

SHEQ

  • To activelyparticipate in and promote Safety & Environment, by ensuring safe andenvironmentally responsible practices are followed.

  • To actively practice and promote SHEQ area, toensure safe practices are in place and are followed during operation.

  • To complete LegalEagle moduleassigned.

Administrative and Others

  • Ensure sufficient chemical stocks,laboratoryconsumables, spare parts and others related items to supportsmooth operation

  • Ensure dailyoperation work is performed according to the duty roaster.

  • Ensure all OT claimsand leave application are submitted in timely manner.

  • Assist QC Chemist in handle customerrequirement eg, lab test, customer complaint investigation responds,pre-shipment sample, lab blend and other internal customer requests.

Qualifications

·Education: SPM or equivalent or 2 years relevant working experience

·Education: SRP or equivalent or 4 years relevant working experience

·Computerised business operating system and in PC Software such as Microsoft Office.

•ISO/HACCP or relevant Food Safety knowledge

  • SAP knowledge will be an advantage

  • Theoretical knowledge of analytical technique

  • Practical analytical experience in related fieldwill be an advantage.

  • Laboratory instrumentation skills and techniques.

  • Equipment troubleshooting knowledge.

  • Hazardous chemical handling knowledge.

  • Basic communication skills for both verbal andwritten in English

  • Highly developed and effective time managementcapability.
