MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Safety/Health/Environment

  • Support the plant's safety, health and environmental programs and industrial hygiene programs.

  • Commit to safe work practices.

  • Participate in safety programs, training and drills to increase safety self awareness.

  • Participate in REACT program. Technical/Functional

  • Operate all equipment and perform all duties in accordance with current WI and GMP requirements.

  • Accurately record and maintain all necessary records in accordance with current WI.

  • Support efforts within the process and utility areas as necessary to maintain proper production flow.

  • Assist in all areas of plant when needed such as RVF cloth changing, Mixer cleaning, etc.

  • Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping in the plant and other areas as directed by supervision. Personal Development/Learning

  • To rotate into roles and skill areas as required to progress through the skill block system.

  • Develop multi skill capability by proactively learning tasks in other trade areas (where legal requirements allow).

  • Demonstrate and encourage the use of positive behaviors.

  • Trains and provides leadership to new Process Operators.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Diploma certificate in petrochemical, mechanical, industrial and/or related field.

  • Minimum 0-3 years experience in manufacturing operations required with chemical or food additive plant experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Basic computer aptitude, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • All WI and related GMP.

  • All appropriate policy and procedure.

  • Self motivated.
