Our North America Sales group is currently seeking an Engineering Technician with a focus on CAD Drawings & Document/Data Control to join our team. In this role, you will work as part of a mechanical design team to create 2D drawings, support 3D design, and ensure document and item data control.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Create 3D models and 2D drawings of Laird products.
Create and control item data in DuPont’s ERP database.
Lead new item release activities, ensuring item design requirements meet manufacturing capabilities.
Report on new item release and design metrics.
Interface with Customer Service and/or Engineering regarding customer requirements.
Support production to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
Data acquisition and analysis to support Operations.
Small project support.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Proficiency in CAD is required (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, DraftSight, etc).
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Experience in ERP and PLM applications is a plus.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
