Our North America Sales group is currently seeking an Engineering Technician with a focus on CAD Drawings & Document/Data Control to join our team. In this role, you will work as part of a mechanical design team to create 2D drawings, support 3D design, and ensure document and item data control.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models and 2D drawings of Laird products.

  • Create and control item data in DuPont’s ERP database.

  • Lead new item release activities, ensuring item design requirements meet manufacturing capabilities.

  • Report on new item release and design metrics.

  • Interface with Customer Service and/or Engineering regarding customer requirements.

  • Support production to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.

  • Data acquisition and analysis to support Operations.

  • Small project support.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.

  • Proficiency in CAD is required (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, DraftSight, etc).

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

  • Experience in ERP and PLM applications is a plus.

  • Manufacturing experience is a plus.
