Country Crop Protection Manager (Job Number: COM00001240)


Role Intent

  • Responsible for overall sales expenses profitability and growth of the country crop protection business.

  • In charge of the country crop-protection sales strategy elaboration, resources deployment and alignment with the overall Country and marketing strategy

  • In charge to deliver the agreed marketing strategy and plan

  • In charge to ensure customer and business partner win win partnership to ensure company success

  • Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices & Market Shaper philosophy

  • Collaborate effectively with Country Seeds Sales Manager/Second Brand Sales Manager and marketing team understanding their targets and priorities working efficiently on leveraging available CPP & Seeds solutions

  • The Country CP Sales Manager reports to the Country Leader

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing existing and new customer and business partner relationships, selling products and solutions, and driving profitable growth

  • Overall market evaluation: segment exploration, market assessment, opportunity identification, market potential and attractiveness evaluations

  • Customer and business partners and market related activities: strategic account management, relationship building, contract negotiations, competitive analysis, profitability analysis , demand management

  • Ensure / accountable of the forecasting 24 months

  • Build sales policy and distribution strategy to deliver sales goals align with marketing strategy

  • Other business related activities: aligning internal departments such as customer service, credit financial services and supply chain to account strategy

  • Accountable for achieving sales, profitability (std. margin) and expenses district plans

  • Accountable for managing accounts receivable performance and achieving defined targets (DSO, % current)

  • Ensuring proper product stewardship and compliance with EH&S, sales processes and company policies

  • Ensure sales team training and adoption of commercial process and tools as well as core values

  • Developing contacts and strong relationships at senior management level with key accounts


  • Bachelor degree in related field

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience

  • Previous sales experience and knowledge of crop protection market

  • Excellent level of English
