Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont™ has an exciting opportunity for a Field Agronomist serving the Texas & Oklahoma Panhandle region. If you have a passion of helping customers be successful, this is a great opportunity for you!

Target field activities to key accounts to build relationships and drive sales of Pioneer® brand products. Develop and provide agronomic and product education and training to the field sales force that supports the sales and service of Pioneer products. Work with the Technical Product Manager and Agronomy Research Manager to plan and conduct Commercial Unit, and Regional agronomy field trials that improve the product management and/or product positioning of Pioneer seed products. Partner with Product Agronomists, Territory Managers, Strategic Account Managers and Sales Reps to create and deliver product and digital services information which improves the productivity and profitability of Pioneer customers. Serve as primary agronomic resource to Territory managers to resolve difficult customer concerns.

Technical Sales

  • Work directly with key accounts toapply agronomy information and product management knowledge to deliver Pioneerbrand value and drive sales with targeted accounts.

  • Coordinate the development and deliveryof product management information to assigned territories that differentiatesPioneer seed products and drives sales.

  • Assistin resolving customer service calls involving product performance and/oragronomic issues when unable to be resolved by Seller.

  • Provideinput on sales team performance, selection and evaluation to the District Lead whenrequested.

  • Supportproduct life cycle management in assigned area

Agronomy Training

  • Providestructured product management training to sellers that enables them to improvePioneer seed experience with growers.

  • Coachfield sales employees on customer service call best practices.

  • Provide timely agronomic information tothe field sales team to support the sales effort.

  • Provideagronomic content for technical and marketing communications for both internaland external audiences (Walking Your Fields, Field Facts and Crop Focus, web,mobile, etc…)

Agronomy Coordination

  • Collaboratewith Agronomy Research Manager and Technical Product Manager to coordinate andexecute agronomy trials that can be used to support product management, productpositioning, and field sales training.

  • Coordinateinformation/notes and observations related to the performance and management ofPioneer brand seed products including Product Knowledge Plot (PKP) programs

  • Supportthe use of digital agronomy tools with field team

Qualifications

Education – Bachelors degree required. Master's Degree in Agronomy or equivalent is preferred.

Experience – 3-5 years agronomy experience and proven abilities
