In this role, the SAP Lead will be responsible for providing general and technical expertise towards building and maintaining accurate enterprise resource planning data/processes at the DuPont Valley View site. As the SAP subject matter expert, this individual acts as the primary site SAP resource for product configuration, material movement, inventory resolution and related SAP training sessions. The position has overall site SAP security lead responsibilities. This Super Key User must understand both manufacturing flow as well as the system flow needed to run the manufacturing areas. The SAP Lead will focus on SAP support and efforts to improve inventory accuracy, reduce lead times, prevent product hold-ups, and improve overall system performances and enhance financial/inventory compliance. The SAP lead will also provide routine and ad-hoc plant data and data analysis in various forms to various users as requested, as well as participate/lead bolt-on technology projects.
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for executing the Master Data role responsibilitieswithin the change-control process for manufacturing documentation, includingBill of materials, Product Recipes, SAP PI sheets, product codes (d-codes),accounting codes (FRB codes).
Responsible for associate SAP training/mentoring and ensuringtraining documentation and procedures are created and maintained as necessary.
Responsible for open order analysis, cost analysis and errorresolution for SAP as well as site coordination with DuPont financial resources
May function as site resource for Information Technologyapplications and employee systems access
Collaborates closely with the Area Management, Business Resources,SAP bolt-on system application owners, finance, accounting, and the system endusers to ensure integrity and continuous improvement of SAP transactions andprocesses
Participates in a network(s) of SAP key Personnel to ensure sitealignment/compliance to Business/Corporate guidelines
Provide daily First Level SAP problem resolution support for site(1st escalation point for SAP Users)
Maintain system Black Out procedures and coordinates activitiesduring and after system upsets and outages
Supports Employee change/onboarding processes: Creates Global WorkRoles for site users, Site SAP Security Lead
Coordinates product inventory cyclecounting processes and required SOX Audits and participates in resolvingidentified gaps
Problem solving and data analysis are key functions of this roleand require independent problem identification, decision making, resolution andcoordination of troubleshooting that identifies and resolves master data errors
Maintains specific site metric data and provides datareports/extracts/entry as needed
The following are required:
High School Diploma/GED
Proficient with SAP
Proficient with computer software, including MicrosoftOffice
Solid communication skills, including the ability todeliver presentations to large groups
Ability to work independently or in a group environment
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize work tomeet deadlines
Willing and able to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, andlift/move up to 25lbs
Willing and able to work overtime as needed
