Director of Information Technology (Job Number: 201176W-01)
Responsible for global IT Infrastructure, software deployment, and software quality for DuPont Sustainable Solutions. Develops and executes strategic plans to keep the technology and processes current with the industry best practices. Works closely with leaders of various functions within DSS, including Software Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Product Development to provide guidance on technology and enable business growth and sustainability. Works with the CIO/CCO of DSS on compliance and security, as well for major technology-based corporate initiatives.
Direct the work of the following IT functions: User Support, Infrastructure, Application Support, Database Administration, Software Quality, and Software Development.
Work with Regional IT Site Leaders to ensure all DSS users can access needed resources and work efficiently.
Provide leadership to IT Project Manager role including delegating resources to projects and tracking tasks, communicating to the business project proposals and progress on approved projects, and reviewing completed projects for opportunities to improve IT processes.
Define IT solutions that meet current and future business requirements and align solutions with corporate standards when possible.
Ensure IT operations and datacenters comply with corporate policies and standards, review compliance concepts with teams, and verify compliance through spot checks and audits.
Budget and manage IT spending on capital and non-capital expenses.
BA or BS degree.
At least eight years working experience in a technical environment.
At least five years working experience in a management position.
