2018-2019 Campus Internship - Integrated Field Sciences Co-Op - 6 Month (Various Locations) (Job Number: RES00004296)

Description

Corteva AgriSciences sponsors a variety of co-ops in agricultural research across many field research centers in North America. These research centers house trait development, crop protection and plant breeding research activities. Sharing resources across research groups facilitates more efficient integrated product development. Thus, Integrated Field Science co-ops at these research centers will provide the opportunity for candidates to obtain diverse experiences across these functions responsible for integrated product development.

Candidates will work as part of a team in field plot management, and precision phenotyping tasks associated with trait development, crop protection, digital ag and plant breeding projects. Co-ops may also assist other IFS Field Scientists also located in the geographic region, but not stationed at the research center. Co-ops will also manage their own research project with the expectation of a verbal report to the larger co-op group at Corteva AgriSciences facilities in Johnston, IA.

These co-op positions provide excellent experience that can be applied to full time positions in the industry, or in preparation for additional graduate level training in the plant sciences. These joint positions are available at several locations including Windfall, IN, Champaign, IL, Marion, IA, Union City, TN, Mankato, MN, Janesville, WI, York, NE and Stoneville, MS. Applicants may indicate geographic preference, or confirm their potential interest in all the locations.
