Industry Vertical Manager - Automotive Composites (Job Number: 200649W-01)


Automotive Industry Vertical Manager will be responsible for the growth and sustainability of our market position in automotive verticals by developing value-engineered solutions in partnership with strategic customers. The successful candidate should have full understanding of customer needs and technical requirements of automotive applications to align and position capabilities with customer needs. The candidate will report to the Global Marketing Manager. Responsibilities: • Drive global strategy for automotive segment in Kevlar® and Nomex® • Identify and drive growth projects with OEMs and Tier 1 customers. • Position Nomex® and Kevlar® in value-engineered solutions (valued in excess of $3MM) • Grow our market position in automotive applications by building effective relationships with target customers • Develop relationships with commercial, technical, and engineering contacts at target accounts • Meet or exceed individual and segment growth objectives • Segment customers according to technical complexity, growth prospects and sustainability • Continuously monitor market, technical and customer trends • Serve as the subject matter expert for internal and external customers


Experience and qualifications: • Bachelor's in Engineering or Marketing • MBA preferred • Competency in composites • At least 5 years’ experience in automotive industry • Work experience at a major OEM or Tier 1 supplier. • Familiarity with the requirements of evaluating and commercializing materials in composite structures • Proficient in developing business cases and value propositions in line with OEM practices
