IT Solutions Delivery Lead - HR (Job Number: 199005W-01)

Description

Lead the development and implementation of the IT solutions for the HR function, ensuring close alignment with the IT strategy, and adherence to enterprise architecture policies, principles and standards.

Activities:

  • Lead the implementation of solutions required to deliver the 3-5yr HR technology roadmap

  • Analyze the HRIT portfolio for gaps and new possibilities and propose solutions for improvement.

  • Drive convergence to mainstream architecture elements. Retire, replace or redevelop legacy solutions. Renew and reassess solutions to reduce complexity, reduce total life cycle costs and deliver new business value

  • Document the HRIT Target Architecture and Solutions and Services Roadmaps in alignment with the EA Target Architecture – inclusive of business process, information, applications, and technologies needed to support the future state. Evaluate adherence with Enterprise Architecture standards, navigate standards review process and ensure alignment.

  • Collaborate with project leaders and IT architects early in the project to complete the EA Risk/Impact Assessment and the EA Project Checklist. Complete appropriate Architecture Record entries and appropriate project deliverables.

  • Lead EA governance, life cycle management processes across HR domains.

  • Lead and mentor CoE domain and solution architects.

  • Ensure documentation of all EA deliverables within the Architecture repository

  • Participate in EA planning to develop the overall target architecture, identify integration and common requirements.

  • Steward and assist in the development of DuPont Enterprise Architecture competency, processes and methods.

  • Lead architecture design validation and signoff of integrated solutions/services covering Workday, Taleo, Payroll vendors, share service technologies such as SFDC, content management, scanning, SharePoint, and telephony/IVR, and other enabling technologies

  • Manage the availability of COE/COO/COC resources as needed to drive HR OpEx timelines, milestones, and deliverables

  • Member of functionally aligned architecture team (for applications, data or infrastructure) for integration of architecture planning, governance and execution

  • External IT suppliers, strategic partners process industry consortia and standards organizations - to understand and influence trends, roadmaps, etc.

  • Operations Center of Competencies (CoC) – Maintenance & Reliability, Quality, Automation and Process control

Key Deliverables:

  • Define the target architecture including solutions and services roadmaps inclusive of business process, data, and technologies required to support the future state

  • Solutions Portfolio Roadmaps – renew, retire, redevelop, replace reassess

  • HR OpEx project deliverables and architecture record content and compliance with EA Principles, Policies and Standards. Lead architecture integration of projects across the CoE.

  • Provide guidance and sign off on architecture deliverables produced by the HR OpEx Journey partner

  • Current state HR technical architecture assessment

  • Strategy for integrating Workday with external systems

  • Technical architecture options for HR OpEx reporting and analytics

  • Technical architecture options for HR historical data archiving

  • HR portal strategy and architecture and interoperability with the Enterprise Portal

  • Develop the timeline and activities for achieving key architectural milestones

Qualifications

Critical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Enterprise work processes and standards with a focus on Human Capital Management

  • Experience with end to end systems, business process and data integration architecture and design

  • Practical experience with Global HRMS technology using both ERP and SAAS solutions (e.g. Workday, SAP/Taleo)

  • Practical experience integrating Global HRMS capability with other business systems

  • Demonstrated experience managing outsourced partners to deliver technology solutions

  • Demonstrated strong communication and Global team leader

  • Experience in applications Life Cycle Management

  • Experience with IT strategy development

  • Working knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library and/or Microsoft Solutions Framework

  • Working knowledge of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) – capability maturity model

  • Working knowledge of mainstream technology standards (e.g. HTML, Web Services)

  • Familiarity with product management, supplier roadmaps and target architectures

  • Familiarity with Six Sigma methodology

  • Innovator/early adopter of technology
