Pricing & Rebates Marketing Specialist (Job Number: 199847W-01)



The PRC Marketing Specialist role is responsible for pricing and rebates activities as defined per the work processes. The role is part of T&AP Americas Commercial Excellence Team. The successful candidate will interact with the Sales, Product Managers, Customer Service and Billing teams to provide the desired service level to our customers.


  • Work with the commercial organization, to clearly define the Price Design necessary for each customer and/or business, and set up price records accordingly.

  • Understand and utilize optimal internal mechanisms in SFDC PA, and other Pricing Tools

  • Validate price records periodically in tandem with commercial organizations to ensure that only required and current pricing is in the system

  • Ensure all activity is compliant with SOX standards

  • Meet all Operating Level Agreements

  • Participate on strategic customer account teams

  • Identify and resolve price and payment discrepancies

  • Re-price open and non-invoiced orders to reflect pricing if changes occurred


  • Understand rebates processes and work with the commercial organization to ensure rebate agreements are set up correctly and per expectations

  • All activities are compliant to SOX standards and meet Operating Level Agreements

  • Provide expertise to the business on the Rebate process. Closely monitor rebates and communicate issues back to the business

  • Work closely with Finance to ensure proper financial entries are made

  • Function as a liaison with, Financial Analysts, Sales to Cash, Customer Service Representatives and Sales & Marketing teams.

  • Serve as control point to the Sub Comp process ensuring proper Delegation of Authority is followed and contracts are in place when necessary

  • Participate on strategic customer account teams


  • Validate distributor’s monthly CUPS submission(s)

  • Audit distributor’s monthly CUPS submission(s)

  • Work with Channel sales Specialists/businesses contacts on discrepancies and potential audit failures

  • Obtain appropriate payout approval from business delegate(s) ensuring proper Delegation of Authority is followed

  • Communicate with external customer base and provide reporting and reconciliation data when requested

  • All activities are compliant to SOX standards and meet Operating Level Agreements


  • Provide marketing support to key accounts and maintain access to customer portals

  • Support Distributor Regulatory request and provide appropriate documentation (Safety & Product Data Sheets, PPAP requests…)

Associate Degree preferred or relevant work experience
